Philpott Lake Safety Expo June 9 - 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
We R Indie has partnered with the Army Corps of Engineers at Philpott Lake in Southwest Virginia in promoting and producing this outdoor expo promoting safety including boating, hiking, biking, CPR and more. The Philpott Lake Safety Expo is June 9 at the Philpott Lake Welcome Center and Dam Overlook picnic grounds located in Henry County Virginia.
This is a free community festival style event that is heavily promoted and includes vendors and presentations on safety including boating, hiking, biking, CPR, and more. Attendance 500+ people.
Performance Eligibility: Any solo, duo, group, or band can submit for a performance opportunity on our main stage. Genres accepted are Country, Rock, Blues, Bluegrass, Funkabilly, Newgrass, Americana, Gospel/Christian, Swing, Folk or a fusion of any of the listed. Showcase artists are not paid but will get a free lunch. You will have the opportunity to make new fans and sell your merchandise. You must confirm your attendance and sign a performance contract with us by May 1 or an alternate will be selected.
