We at Music Xray are happy to announce that The 2012 Artists in Music Awards held last February 10, 2012 at the Key Club in Hollywood, California was a big success. It was a night filled with laughter, music and tons of surprises. Coming off the inaugural Artist in Music Awards event, the awards night trekked in an unprecedented 1,200 to 1,375 people in attendance. Initially, the organizers only anticipated 600 and hoped to bring in 800. The turn out far exceeded their expectations.
Aside from the great performances from Music Xray artists Katie Cole, Donny B Lord, Nobody Gets Killed, Dayda Bass and Monks of Mellonwah, thirteen was the lucky number for Music Xray as 12 of our artists won 13 out of the 22 awards given out that night. Couldn’t believe it? Check out this list:

Here’s what host Mikey Jayy had to say about one of this year’s most unforgettable event, “Between 1,200 and 1,375 attended the 2012 Artists in Music Awards. It was such a major success, that the Mayor of Hollywood named me an honorary representative of Independent Music and I am now apart of an exclusive group called, “The Coalition”. The Coalition is an elite group of music promoters that are officially endorsed by the City of Hollywood. This opportunity is going to open the doors to so many more opportunities… I will make some big announcements in the coming weeks.”
